I've been fascinated with the martial arts at a very young age. There's something deeply rooted that is more than just moves and movement. There's a spirit/a culture that lies within it all.

He made for a rather powerful warrior because it didn't focus on his physical attribute but creating this great tactic of psychological warfare on the battlefield.

Build your metabolic rate with a great HCG regimen
One of the greatest things about finding out your body functions is knowing what sparks and doesn't spark your metabolism. For example, if you are a body builder, you'll know that you need to pack on pounds by eating well balanced proteins and carbs just to gain muscle. This happens to lower your HCG because your body's natural hormone will think it's storing the fat for a harsh winter. However, you can unleash this by eating meals that provide great nutrients but at the same time low calories so you are actively burning fat and increasing your metabolism.

Combine Martial Arts and unleashing your HCG into a nice fat burning program
HCG is a hormone within your body that stores your fat for when you need it. The problem is that too many people do not have the right eating or exercising habits to unleash this and make it active. Eat some lean meals with low calories to help provide you with a program that will get you lean in no time.

Real Life Hwoarang Tekken: 80+ TKD & Hapkido for Action Film - Eric Jacobus
Now, this is a really nice stunt video. There is a lot of foundation, a lot of tricks, and just some overall dope techniques. Of course, there's always gotta be one person on these YouTube channels saying this is impractical, that is impractical. So what? It's practice..it's showing off some moves! In all honesty, a few moves would be great for unpredictable situations. Like I've always said, it's never about what you do, it's how and when you do it that makes the most impact.
With that being said, I'm absolutely amazed that this guy is slated to play Stryker in Mortal Kombat: Legacy. I was automatically said in my mind, "Stryker is a cop..how the hell is doing all of this crazy textbook and beyond textbook stuff?" This has me really excited for the craziness that will be Season 2 of Mortal Kombat Legacy. If you haven't seen season 1, you can view my Playstation blog. All the episodes are posted there.

Happy Birthday, Bruce Lee!
Luckily for me, I have this guy sitting on a wall right above my head. So, this is more like a protector than a poster.
Words cannot express the impact this one guy has had on the world for the past 40 something years now. His presence on screen in any action movie is still unmatched. No one can ever duplicated the charm, the character, the bone chilling presence he has in a scene when it's time to get down with the get down.
Ever since I was about 8 years old, I always envisioned what it would be like to meet this guy. Even if it was a simple dream and I got to sit there and talk to him, that would be great. I'm pretty sure a simple few words would inspire me to be even greater. Bruce Lee was that kind of person to really help people be the best they can be. Not by changing them, but helping them to become a better "they" or so. You definitely gotta respect that.
Imho, he's not only the father of creating a unique system of combat that uses form as no form, but the current thing with MMA and UFC. I definitely think if he's not the father, he's definitely the inspiration behind that.
Shoutout to Shannon Lee, Bruce's daughter, for keeping his legacy alive and well! I would post a movie below, but I think some simple words from him would have a lot more impact. Also, check out my other blog for more motivation from Bruce Lee.

Music Monday - Enter the Dragon Theme
I haven't done a Music Monday in a good while to be absolutely honest on this site, but this is special. This is the 39th year anniversary, and this song is an absolute classic. The 70s had the best theme songs, period. This absolutely takes the cake. Enter the Dragon is such a cult classic that got everyone really into the whole Martial Arts films thing. I love this track. It's so funky, it's so intuitive of the time, period. Even the DDR remix is pretty dayum cool! Check out the track enjoy!

Bruce Lee Walk On! Warrior Hoodie - BruceLee.Com VLOG Series
This is a really great hoodie with a very powerful message that even correlates to the things I'm doing currently. Often times, we get so plagued by what's going on in life that we kind of neuter ourselves on our own walk. I love the message, "Walk On!" It's especially powerful because at the time Bruce Lee wrote that message..he could not walk....
Also, a lot of the doctors were saying, he would never be able to practice Martial Arts nor possibly walk ever again. Well, he showed them...To me, walk on means to take it one step at a time. Each foot well placed going forward and not going back...The Ryu symbol definitely resonates with me because I'm a huge Street Fighter fan. I'm really into symbolism and signs and different styles of learning. This is a great clip and a great hoodie. You can cop it at BruceLee.com
Also, if you want some more motivating/powerful messages, check out my blog specifically the Bruce Lee post in an interview on the Pierre Berton show.

Comic Con 2012 - RZA/Dave Bautista - "Man with the Iron Fists" at Nerd HQ
I've always liked anything that Hip-Hop Producer, Composer, Scorer, and now Director, RZA, has been involved with. This is a natural progression seeing as he has worked on big films such as Kill Bill, Vol. 1 and American Gangster. Additionally, he's a big part of the infamous Wu-Tang Clan, so you already know he watched a lot of Kung-Fu films growing up. I'm pretty sure he has learned a great deal from Quentin Tarantino on developing films besides creating a great score to give the aura of dramatic scenes.
Also, you get ex WWE champ and MMA fighter, Dave Bautista. He's going to be a real strong man in this film. The crazy thing is he actually lost 30 pounds after he left the WWE 0_o. Still swole as hell. LOL. Peep the interview:

Jackie Chan's Chinese 12 Zodiac trailer
Supposedly, this is Jackie Chan last major (death-defying, risk taking) action film. Don't get it twisted. This won't be his last international action film. It's the last one where he's truly risking his body like back in the day (check out my previous post to get a look of what I mean). The cool thing about this film is if you've ever watched Jackie Chan Adventures in the early to mid 2000s, you'll kind of get a feel of what this movie is about. It almost reminds me of the Talisman he used to collect in his journeys throughout the world. Chan basically is a thief set out on globe-trotting, treasure-hunting adventure. It comes 12-12-12. Crazy, right? Enjoy!
Cinemassacre's Top 10 Jackie Chan fight scenes and stunts
I haven't wrote on here in a bit, but I have to say this is the perfect time to do so. I'm a HUGE Jackie Chan fan. From his 70s work up until his most recent stuff, Jackie Chan is the man. Straight up. I heard that apparently his last action film is going to be "Chinese Zodiac". I half way believe him and half way don't. Why? Well, there's still that possibly of a Rush Hour 4 coming out in a year or two. We'll see. I'm going to be sad if this is the case. I understand he's literally he's 2 years away from getting to the age of 60, but c'mon. You're Jackie Chan! You're superhuman! LOL.
This just in...I got this directly from Jackie Chan's Facebook page:
"Hello all my friends and fans,
Yesterday in my press conference in Cannes for Chinese 12 Zodiac I said that this movie was my last big action movie.
Today I was shocked when I woke up to read all the news coverage that I was retiring from doing Action movies.
I just want to let everyone know that I am not retiring from doing action movies. What I meant to say is that I need to do less of the life risking stunts on my movies. After all these years of doing so many stunts and breaking so many bones, I need to take better care of my body so I can keep working.
I will continue to do international action movies.
And I will keep improving my English :-)
I love all of you!
Jackie"
Woot! That means a Rush Hour 4 is a big possibility! Nice!

BruceLee.Com VLOG Series - "I Am Bruce Lee" Feature Documentary
Here's a cool VLog from Shannon Lee talking about the upcoming documentary, "I am Bruce Lee". It looks like it's going to be an excellent feature film dealing with a perspective not quite shown in the media just yet. I love the fact that she is not exploiting her father, but preserving the raw core elements of Bruce Lee. I really want to see this film. I feel Bruce Lee has a certain aura that all of us embody one way or another. He's a big influence on not only the Martial Arts, but just life as a whole. As of right now, the movie will be played in select theaters from February 9th-15th. It also be airing on Spike TV in the month of March. For more information on dates, theaters, and times, check out IAMBruceLee.com. Also, make sure to check the iambrucelee twitter page as well as the Bruce Lee page run by Shannon Lee. Check out the VLog as well as trailer right under it:
